Holly Pond took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Cold Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Broncos skirted past the Eagles 5-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Broncos as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Holly Pond's win bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Cold Springs, they dropped their record down to 8-14-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Holly Pond didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-5 loss against Fairview on the 5th. Hopefully Cold Springs payed attention to the Broncos' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
