The Kingstree Blazers won the last time they faced the Georgetown Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Kingstree secured a 46-41 W over Georgetown.
It was another big night for Micheal Kelly, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Shaun Dorsey, who scored seven points.
Kingstree's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Georgetown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Kingstree won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Manning at 5:30 p.m. on January 6th. Manning is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Georgetown, they will take on Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Waccamaw focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
