It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bergen Catholic had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-14 win over the St. Joseph Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won six contests by 27 points or more so far this season.
Bergen Catholic found their leader in sophomore Trey Tagliaferri, who threw for 140 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Tagliaferri. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Willis, who picked up 38 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
