They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over Brillion. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Brillion lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amaya Brooks. Despite the final result, she scored 33 points along with 6 rebounds. The match was Brooks' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Hale, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals.
Chilton's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brillion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Chilton will be playing in front of their home fans against New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brillion, they will head out on the road to face off against Two Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Two Rivers comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
