Make it nine blowout wins for the Altamonte Christian Eagles this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Four Corners 89-46 at home. Winning may never get old, but Altamonte Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ashton Billings continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists. It was the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Almeda, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Four Corners had strong showings from Kesh Harpal, who scored 17 points, and Joshua Barnes, who scored 14 points. Harpal is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last four games he's played.
Altamonte Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Four Corners, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Altamonte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Four Corners will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Coyotes in Florida (the Hawks are ranked 32nd, while the Coyotes are ranked 621st).
