Branchville is 0-3 against the Warriors since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Branchville Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to square off against the Whale Branch Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Branchville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.

Whale Branch unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bamberg-Ehrhardt. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Whale Branch had strong showings from Kevin Jenkins, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Greggory Gilbert, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Bradford Thompson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Branchville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Whale Branch, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.
Branchville was taken down by the Warriors 80-46 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Branchville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
