The Kelly Trojans suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 48-25 loss at the hands of Dyett. Kelly was down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Delilah Lopez was Kelly's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Lopez also led the team in rebounds with ten.
Kelly now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Dyett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kelly will face off against Lincoln Park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Lincoln Park and four for Kelly. As for Dyett, Dyett and Northside will face off at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Northside is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
