New Deal's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 33 points in the first half. Roosevelt came up with 12 to make it 33-12 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for New Deal in the second half, holding Roosevelt to a measly 0 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
New Deal will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Muleshoe at 7:30 PM. Roosevelt are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Tahoka next week at 7:30 PM.
