The Springport Spartans won against the Climax-Scotts Panthers last Tuesday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Springport came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 52-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Springport.
Braydon Hawes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Brody Baum was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals and two blocks.
Springport has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Climax-Scotts, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Springport will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Climax-Scotts, they will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Kellogg is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
