After flying high against the Twin Falls Christian Academy Warriors two weeks ago, the Hagerman Pirates came back down to earth. Hagerman was the victim of a tough 66-46 defeat at the hands of Dietrich on Monday. Hagerman has not had much luck with Dietrich recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Hagerman still got an impressive performance from Ky Kendall, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Kendall hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Alex Johnson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Hagerman's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dietrich, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Hagerman will be playing at home against Camas County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camas County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hagerman in Idaho (Camas County is ranked 17th, while Hagerman is ranked 102nd). As for Dietrich, they will head out on the road to face off against Richfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
