It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the East Wilkes Cardinals 70-31. The Gryphons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy to victory were Samara Jones and Brooklyn Twitty. Jones posted 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Twitty earned 18 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoee Lowrance, who scored six points.

The victory was the 12th in a row for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, bringing their record for this year to 20-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points over those games. As for East Wilkes, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.
