On Wednesday, the Cherry Hill West Lions were out to avenge their 59-25 defeat to the Paul VI Eagles from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. Cherry Hill took a serious blow against Paul VI, falling 69-23. That's the fewest points the Lions have scored all season.
Cherry Hill's overall record fell to 10-8. The victory was the ninth in a row for Paul VI and raised their record to 19-2.
Cherry Hill will stay at home against Camden Catholic Friday. The odds don't look promising for Cherry Hill, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall. The Eagles are on the road again on Saturday and play against Atlantic City. Paul VI won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
