The Buckeye Bucks were the 70-56 winner over the Keystone Wildcats when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Buckeye fell to the Wildcats 73-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), Buckeye still had to take the loss.
Grant Hartley was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 40 points and ten rebounds for Keystone. Hartley is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Goran, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
Buckeye dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Keystone, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
Buckeye will head out on the road to face off against the Invaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Keystone, they will be playing at home against the The Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oberlin is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
