If Watkins Memorial wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bishop Hartley, they should've done a better job of containing Robert Lathon. The Hawks simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warriors 35-7 for which the team can thank Lathon, who rushed for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop Hartley and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Watkins Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Hartley will challenge Badin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Watkins Memorial, they will take on Johnstown-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Johnnies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
