The Huntsville Hornets will head out on the road to  square off against  the Texas Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Huntsville is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.

Duke has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 15 consecutive pitching appearances. Duke was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Katie Vonrosenberg, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Rylie Hammond, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Texas earned  an  8-5 victory over Pine Tree  on Tuesday.
  Eva Treadway spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  Cali Forte and  Brooklyn Threadgill did most of the damage at the plate:  Forte  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI, while  Threadgill  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Mally Lumpkin was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Huntsville is  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record  this season. As for Texas, their record is now 20-12-1.
 Thursday's   game will be a test for both team's pitchers. Huntsville hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .386. However, it's not like Texas struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .371. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
