Haysville Campus dropped out of the state's top 25 rankings. Haysville Campus fell from No. 14 to No. 26 after going 0-1 over the past week. The Colts are ranked No. 2151 in the nation, and have an overall record of 17-5.
Maize currently leads Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I with a 21-2 record overall and an 11-1 mark during league play. The Colts are three games back and in second place with an 8-4 league record.
The Eagles' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only five hits and one walks, both of which led the league. Maize has given up a mere 109 hits on the year, while striking out 148 opposing hitters.
Craig Nicks is the leader in that category with 49 Ks on the season.
