They walked away with a 43-34 victory over Gem State Adventist Academy. Wilder's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Gem State Adventist Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jarod Avalos, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Avalos has scored all season.
Wilder's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-14. As for Gem State Adventist Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilder will stay at home for another game and welcome the Grizzlies on February 6th. Gem State Adventist Academy will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
