The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Overbrook in their matchups with West Philadelphia: they've now lost six in a row.
Zahfir Cleveland went supernova for West Philadelphia, rushing for 201 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Dontay Armstrong also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Overbrook has yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 2-6 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.5 points per game. As for West Philadelphia, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
