Kaston Lewis posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Coming up, Lewis and Iowa will head out to take on Leesville at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The game will pit Lewis up against the Wampus Cats' star running back Grant Braxton. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
