Bishop McGuinness put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southeast Spartans 45-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Fighting Irish's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Spartans are ranked 113th).

Bishop McGuinness' victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bishop McGuinness is set to challenge their familiar foe Newcastle at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Southeast will face off against rival MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
