The Diamond Bar Brahmas fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Walnut 35-12. The result was nothing new for Diamond Bar, who have now won three matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was isaac insuasti, who rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. The team's defense also helped out by holding Walnut to a paltry 150 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Diamond Bar's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out five times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Morgan Magee and his two sacks.
Despite the loss, Walnut still got an impressive performance from Harland Fluker iii, who picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown.
