The Hardee Wildcats lost against the DeSoto County Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hardee was dealt a 57-22 loss at the hands of DeSoto County. Hardee has struggled against DeSoto County recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Hardee had strong showings from Jazlynn Jones, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds, and Danaelle Pierre, who scored 2 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Jones scored a full 36.4% of Hardee's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for DeSoto County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Hardee will head out on the road to face off against Mulberry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeSoto County, they will be playing at home against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
