North Quincy had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They were able to grind out a solid win over Silver Lake Regional, winning 18-8. Silver Lake Regional can consider this payback for the 19-24 defeat they dealt North Quincy the last time the teams encountered one another. This was the first game for both teams, giving North Quincy a 1-0 record and starting Silver Lake Regional off at 0-1.
North Quincy will look to defend their home turf next week against Westwood at 7:00 PM. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will face off against Oliver Ames.
