Cheyenne won against Western last Thursday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Desert Shields were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights. The result was nothing new for the Desert Shields, who have now won four contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cheyenne and bumps their season record up to 4-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-8 Democracy Prep Agassi Campus and 2-6 Western. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cheyenne will take on rival Del Sol at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus is set to face off against their familiar foe Western at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
