Kenston Forest has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Amelia Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Kavaliers will challenge the Patriots at 4:30  p.m. Kenston Forest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10  runs per game  this season.
Kenston Forest will roll into the  game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Southampton Academy  on Wednesday. The Kavaliers put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp  12-3 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Kavaliers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.
 Aubrey Mayton (2026) made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Hudson (2029) was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kelsey Marshall, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Kenston Forest  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
 Meanwhile, Amelia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  16-0 to Fuqua.
 Kenston Forest's record now sits at 12-5. As for Amelia Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
Amelia Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Kenston Forest has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .459. It's a different story for Amelia Academy, though, as  they've  only  averaged .275. Will they be able to contain Kenston Forest's hitters?
 Kenston Forest took their  win against Amelia Academy  when the teams last played  back in March by a conclusive  15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kavaliers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
