Tri County walked away with a 47-39 win over the Raiders on Tuesday. Given Tri County's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Raiders are ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tri County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Siems, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Braiden Strouf, who scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Tri County's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Southern, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Tri County will head out on the road to square off against the Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Southern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Griffin at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
