The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers will face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Melbourne Central Catholic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.
Melbourne Central Catholic barely beat Space Coast the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hustlers were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Vipers on Thursday. Considering the Hustlers have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lilly Rollinger made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
Rollinger wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Carter, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Carter has posted since back in February. Madelyn Oesterle was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Melbourne Central Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Space Coast only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Okeechobee ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over Lake Placid. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Brahmans considering their one-run performance the game before.
Lilly Larson spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on 11 hits.
On the hitting side, Tehya Nunez was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Hayden Slovenski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Melbourne Central Catholic pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Okeechobee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12-1 record this season.
Okeechobee's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Melbourne Central Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .446. It's a different story for Okeechobee, though, as they've only averaged .346. Will they be able to contain Melbourne Central Catholic's hitters?
