The Denham Springs Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  games by 21  points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a  62-36 margin over Alexandria. The  win was nothing new for Denham Springs as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Denham Springs found their leader in underclassman  Prai Nelson, who  scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Smith, who  scored ten points.
 Denham Springs pushed their record up to 13-2 with that  victory, which was their 14th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Alexandria,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-5.
