The Lakeside Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between them and Rock Hills wasn't particularly close, with Lakeside falling 48-34. Lakeside has not had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauren Brummet, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tatum Miller, who scored 13 points.
Lakeside dropped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rock Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Warriors on February 9th. As for Rock Hills, they will challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Natoma is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
