The New Life Christian Academy Knights had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a hard 64-45 fall against CenterPoint Christian Academy. New Life Christian Academy lost against CenterPoint Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 38-34 score last time.
It was another big night for Jeremy Boillat, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 12 steals for CenterPoint Christian Academy. The contest was Boillat's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Turvey, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
New Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for CenterPoint Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy will take on More Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. More Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for CenterPoint Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against CHASE at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
