The Drummond Trojans lost to the St. Regis Tigers back in February of 2022, but the Drummond Trojans didn't allow the St. Regis Tigers the same satisfaction on Friday. Drummond came out on top against St. Regis by a score of 51-40.
Drummond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trey Phillips out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Scott Parke, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
Drummond's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Regis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Drummond will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Seeley-Swan at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Seeley-Swan and Drummond are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. St. Regis will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Two Eagle River at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
