At bat,  Kirk  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances, while  Prusa  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jack Willems, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and a  stolen base.
 Bucklin's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Kinsley, their defeat was  their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucklin's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Elkhart at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Kinsley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Skyline at 4:00  p.m.  on April 4th.
