Despite the loss, East Mountain saw an underclassman step up: freshman Evelyn Kannolt posted 26 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Those 26 points gave Kannolt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jodie Tillman, who earned 15 points.

Looking ahead, East Mountain will face off against Cuba at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cuba has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three contests. Cottonwood Classical Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
