Mt. Pleasant Gets a Boost from Tafoya in 30-14 Victory
Starting off the list is Mt. Pleasant's Andrew Tafoya, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tafoya picked up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Mt. Pleasant's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. Tafoya and Mt. Pleasant will venture away from home to face off against Yerba Buena at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Jason Stoner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Gunderson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
