Peyton Thomas Goes Supernova in Cypress Ranch Win
Starting off the list is Cypress Ranch's Peyton Thomas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Thomas rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
For the year, Thomas has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 12.8 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 31.82 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 82.64 rushing yards.

Bridgeland picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jett Lewis. Lewis turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 97 yards on only seven carries, while also throwing for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Those 97 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Bridgeland pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Lewis and Bridgeland will challenge Conroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Niklas Fisher Leads Cypress Ranch over Klein Cain
On Friday, Cypress Ranch got the W thanks in part to Niklas Fisher playing the best football he has all season. Fisher picked up 0.5 sacks, made seven total tackles, and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
This year, Fisher has averaged 7.1 total tackles per game and for the season has 4 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he was only averaging 1.9 total tackles per game.

Big Game from Hinze As Bridgeland Won 24-17
Bridgeland picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Caden Hinze. Hinze did his part (and then some), picking up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
On the year, Hinze has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 45.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four receiving touchdowns.
