Basketball Recap: Pearsall Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pearsall waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Pleasanton Eagles with a 63-57 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-59 on January 3rd.

Pearsall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Rendon, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Rendon a new career-high in blocks (six). Marcus Woodard was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points.

Pearsall was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Pearsall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Pleasanton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-16.

Pearsall will take on Devine at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Pearsall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season. As for Pleasanton, they will square off against Floresville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Floresville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
