3A District 7 recap September 10, 2013
Fairfield scaled the state rankings by moving to 169 from 202 this week, the biggest jump in 3A District 7. The Trojans were able to make move up by besting Davis County 34-7.
Williamsburg was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Central Clinton. The Raiders came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Williamsburg takes on Fort Madison. Curt Ritchie's team is in first place, while the Bloodhounds are in third place.
The Raiders were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to first in the league. Williamsburg vanquished the Sabers 27-17 earlier in the week.
