East Gaston hasn't had much luck against Stuart W. Cramer recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Storm at 6:00 p.m. East Gaston is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.
East Gaston's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against North Gaston as they made off with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 14 contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Kyndall Godley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Godley was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendra Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Lexi Wheeler was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
East Gaston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Stuart W. Cramer beat North Gaston 6-2 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by exactly four runs.
Like East Gaston, Stuart W. Cramer also got a great game from a two-way player: Hadley Womack. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Womack was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Dani Tejada was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
East Gaston pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Stuart W. Cramer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
