The Westminster Wolves's game  last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Northglenn  46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory Westminster has posted  yet this season.
 Westminster's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Hunter Goll, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 14  rebounds. Goll has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last three times he's  played.  Daigan Gray was another key contributor,  scoring 19 points.
 Northglenn's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jose Jaimes, who  scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was  Jonathan Hernandez, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Even though they lost, Northglenn  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Northglenn,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-6.
 Westminster will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 10:30  a.m.  on January 13th. Northglenn won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Prairie View at 7:00  p.m.  on January 12th.
