After soaring high against Jefferson last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Sioux City West took a 6-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sioux City East. If Sioux City West were hoping to take revenge for the 10-34 loss against Sioux City East the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 1-1.
Sioux City West will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Sioux City North at 12:00 PM. As for Sioux City East, they will face off against Sergeant Bluff-Luton.
