Grayson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Heritage Patriots 73-51. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Patriots are ranked 202nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grayson's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Heritage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Grayson and Berkmar will face off at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Rams will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Heritage will take on Monroe Area in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will be up against the Purple Hurricanes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
