Campbell Posts Huge Game in 42-3 Victory
Starting off the list is McCook's Tristan Campbell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Campbell rushed for 245 yards and four scores while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
If history really does repeat itself, Campbell might just drop another big game when he faces off against Gering on Friday. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Campbell saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 259 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

Gering Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Bo Gable
Bo Gable's big game helped extend Gering's winning streak to four on Friday. Gable put up some solid numbers in the win, rushing for 125 yards and two scores, while also picking up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown.
This season, Gable has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 113.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.75 rushing yards per game.

Brody Dreher posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 162 yards and one score while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.

Thorell Came Up Big in Lexington's 63-24 Loss
Tyler Thorell posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Friday. He picked up 97 receiving yards and one score. He didn't just play on offense: he also made nine total tackles and defended one pass.
Plattsmouth's probably Not too fond of Thorell given he always seems to get the better of them. Thorell rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown the last time he and the Blue Devils duked it out back in September of 2024.

Rece Knight posted a new career-high in passer rating on Friday. He threw for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Coming up, Knight and Gering will head out to face off against McCook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs had to take a loss when they last met the Bison, but Knight had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 35 yards and one TD, and also threw for 147 yards and one touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
