In other batting news, Kayla Copeland was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Molly Hull was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
The victory got Durand back to even at 6-6. As for Chesaning, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.
