The Neshaminy Skins''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 28-27 win over Central Bucks East. This was payback for Neshaminy, who suffered a 22-7 loss the last time these two teams met.
Travis Lavelah had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns.
Central Bucks East's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Dan Voglesong, who threw for 194 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jack Donnelly also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Neshaminy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Central Bucks East, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neshaminy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Pennsbury is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Central Bucks East, they will head out on the road to face off against Central Bucks West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Bucks West is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
