While losing is never fun, Cardinal Ritter College Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 28th in Missouri, while the Wildcats are ranked first in Illinois).
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Chaminade had to settle for a 54-51 loss against the Knights on Saturday.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Chaminade, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep strolled past the Red Devils in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 79-65.
