The Christian Community Colts had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.8 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They snuck past Grace Baptist Academy with a 16-12 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Christian Community, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Although Grace Baptist Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Kennedy Brewer and Bradley Majors.
Christian Community's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points per game. As for Grace Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Christian Community will face off against Franklin Christian Academy at TBD on Friday. Franklin Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Christian Community likes a good challenge. Grace Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
