Mountain View Prep scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Wren Hurricanes 61-22. The loss leaves the Stars without a win on the season.

Mountain View Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Celeste Wilder, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Caldwell, who earned seven points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wren to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava O'Shields, who put up 14 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Those five assists gave O'Shields a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hailey Burgess, who had 14 points.

Mountain View Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wren, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Mountain View Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-21 loss against Dreher on the 6th. As for Wren, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-42 victory against Powdersville on the 6th.
