Decatur is on a 19-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while the Clippers are on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Decatur Seahawks will take on the Bennett Clippers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Decatur has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 634 points over their last nine matches.
Even though Cape Henlopen scored an imposing 56 points on Thursday, Decatur still came out on top. Decatur walked away with a 65-56 victory over the Vikings.
It was another big night for Brycen Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. Davin Chandler was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Snow Hill scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Bennett still came out on top. Bennett took their match against the Eagles 73-64.
Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Bennett, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Decatur was able to grind out a solid victory over the Clippers in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 65-55. Will Decatur repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
