Bruce lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashton Pierce, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Bruce struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Olen Falkner went supernova for Ingomar, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Falkner has scored all season. Brayden Tillery was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six assists and three steals.
Bruce has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Ingomar, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-9.
Bruce will head out on the road to challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Pontotoc has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ingomar, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Albany is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67 points per game this season.
