The Imbler Panthers took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). Everything went their way against Notus as Imbler made off with a 58-32 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Imbler also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
When it comes to explaining why Notus lost, one person who can't be blamed is Luis Vargas. Despite the final result, he scored 10 points. The game was Vargas' third in a row with at least ten points.
Imbler's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Notus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imbler will take on Weston-McEwen at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Star at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
